Learn how teams at Metapack have evolved their use of PagerDuty, going from basic on-call management to setting up services using Terraform, leveraging integrations to the company's monitoring tools and using Modern Incident Response to improve digital operations. You'll also hear about DevSecOps and bringing security into the development process.

Claranet is a managed services provider with clients across Europe, the United States and Brazil. Hear how the company leverages PagerDuty to support different operating models in use at the regional level (from NOCs to SREs), providing autonomy to local teams while enabling complete visibility across the board.

Companies are increasingly opting to build applications using event-driven architectures, that is, architectures in which actions are triggered in response to changes in data, called events. Meeting the demands of event-driven systems means evolving how you respond to and resolve incidents. Join us to learn:

• The basics of event-driven architectures, and reveal how Amazon EventBridge can dramatically reduce the time and code required to build applications that react to events

• How PagerDuty integrates with AWS using Amazon EventBridge to provide rapid incident response with enriched data enabling real-time operations to innovate and scale

• What are typical use cases and examples, we’ll review how to simplify the process of ingesting, routing, and processing events from your own apps, AWS services, or SaaS apps

Yoga Break with Zaz
New Capabilities for a New Digital Era

Join our Senior Vice President of Product, Jonathan Rende, for an overview of all things PagerDuty. You’ll see how new innovations like mobile status dashboards, intelligent triage, and auto-remediation can help you reduce costs through improved visibility and orchestration, do more with less thanks to new automation capabilities, and build more resilience and agility into your operations.

10:35AM Keynote

Olivia Khalili, VP of Global Social Impact, will discuss how works to accelerate the impact of mission-driven organizations by empowering teams to respond in real-time to positively impact their communities. Stephen Neil, Infrastructure Lead, Mary’s Meals International, will join Olivia to discuss how PagerDuty helps his team orchestrate immediate action in both HQ and in the field.

PagerDuty Awards

Join us as we celebrate our customers in these three categories:

  • Best Digital Operation
  • Best Response Automation
  • Top Technical Innovator

Form3 is a cloud-native payments platform connecting customers to the universe of payment schemes from a single API. Hear how the company enables 24/7/365 coverage and response by fully embedding DevOps principles into the design and run of their incident management capability and how Form3 has been able to accurately track and compensate for on-call hours leveraging PagerDuty’s REST API.

Teams need streamlined, real-time operations to manage and resolve incidents. With Slack and PagerDuty, companies can seamlessly manage and track a situation as it evolves, reassigning or escalating as needed, and collaborate across teams to quickly resolve the incident.

In this session, you’ll hear how ABN AMRO delivers innovation at scale through its open and compliant platform (GUIDE) to release, operate, and secure ventures within Group Innovation. The session will explain the role of GUIDE automation, enabling developers to onboard quickly and validate their initiatives. You’ll also learn how ABN’s Group Innovation manages security incident workflows at scale leveraging PagerDuty.

Virtual Expo

Get to know our partner ecosystem in the virtual Summit Expo Hall. Demo new products and expand your knowledge about PagerDuty integrations.

PagerDuty is a platform that is all about extensibility and being able to integrate with existing environments and tools to drive process, workflow, automation, analysis and even governance. All this is possible via APIs. Led by PagerDuty University's Technical Trainer Hayley Neal, this session will introduce the different PagerDuty APIs, our refreshed API and reference documentation, as well as some simple workflows that can be done easily from the reference site.

In this session, you’ll learn about the benefits of taking an immutable approach to infrastructure, observability and alerting, and how Vodafone UK is building out these capabilities to enable more self-service for its development teams.

Monitoring is an ancient discipline—but one that has evolved significantly in the past few years. Modern monitoring platforms collect a lot of data from our systems: work and resource metrics, events that are happening inside and outside our applications, distributed tracing data, real user monitoring, and more. But are we using all that data in a way that helps to avoid outages without causing alert fatigue? Are we suffering from information overload in our monitoring systems? We'll present strategies on how to organise your system data in a way that helps your teams anticipate future user-facing issues and avoids alert fatigue by paging only when immediate attention is required.

Customer Panel: Driving Operational Efficiency

Join us for a conversation on digital transformation and the role PagerDuty plays in turning vision into reality. How can you increase your operational efficiency and save costs? Learn from Auto Trader UK and Gousto, two leading companies in the European market. This session will be moderated by PagerDuty's Steve Barrett.

Patrick Debois: Trust me, we're doing DevSecOps

Having lived in the DevOps space for 10+ years now, Patrick has seen the wonders of automation. In this session, he'll explain that when he turned his focus to the DevSecOps field, he clearly saw that automation and tools cannot be seen separately from the people that wield the tools. Therefore he advocates that the step before, during, and after automation is creating one trust amongst the team. At the same time, he cautions people to go with "Enough" automation, as the real bottleneck might not be in the automation.

Closing Remarks, Music, and Networking
